You and your detailer need to confirm that you have received a G techniqUltra Hard Ceramic Coating. It is a very standard practice in the detailing industry to apply substandard or a completely different product than G Techniq Ultra.
There are a few reasons why detailers do that
- You need accreditation from G techniq to buy this product, If you are not accredited you can’t buy this product as a detailer and hence you can’t register the warranty or get the Warranty.
- It is very expensive to buy the G techinq Ultra Hard Ceramic Coating, Instead of selling it for the correct price detailers will often sell it for a cheap price like $999 or $1199 and there is no chance for them to apply the correct product if this is their retail price.
- It takes a lot of time to apply this coating so it means they have to spend more money on the labor along with the product cost, hence forcing them to use cheaper products.
How to Confirm that your car has received G Techniq Ultra Hard ceramic coating?
Each G Techniq Ultra Hard ceramic coating comes with a Guarantee card with a unique Guarantee number and Activation Code. Each Guarantee must be activated within 30 by the detailer. Please have a look at the sample picture attached of the Guarantee card. If you have not received it then chances are that you have recieved something else.
